ANA Week Begins

The next few weeks should determine whether the coin market has started to slow down somewhat as some dealers suggest. With all the ANA activities and major auctions we should be able to analyze this data to see if prices are beginning to soften. On the other side of this theory, some dealers feel the market is still progressing very nicely and this last couple of months has just been a settling period. When prices sky-rocket in so many areas as they have done over the last couple of years, there needs to be a time when prices meet a resistance level. It still looks like the market is healthy at this point. It appears that the metals alternate each week; one week up, then the next down. This week looks to be a downer at this time. What is interesting is that while Gold and Platinum are markedly lower this morning, Silver is up $.26 right now. This is a strange behavior and does not follow a typical pattern. We will have to see how it plays out the rest of the day. Silver is currently at $12.13 and Gold is down over $2 at $631.20. Platinum is $1218, down $19. The market is still open as we write this so make sure you check final prices when making any transactions. We will see you all in Denver. -What's Hot?
