Despite the fear of tornadoes the Atlanta ANA was as busy as any show this year. The market does not see any trepidation at this point with buyers trying to pry coins away from sellers. The wholesale business is fast and furious and dealers are attempting to get in on the first look of any new deals other dealers may have available. The real problem seems to be the same old one locating enough fresh new coins to satisfy demand. This demand continues to force FMV levels much higher as the competition heightens. The metals are on fire. With every increase in bullion levels, a new group of buyers and sellers enter the market. Most dealers are reporting that the numbers of sellers are a lot less than expected considering the increases. It really looks like the demand is far ahead of the incoming supplies and this may be one of the reasons that we are not seeing as much profit-taking as might be expected. Gold has jumped to $593.10 and Silver is way past $12.00, now at $12.35. Platinum is cruising toward the $1,100 mark, currently at $1,082. -What's Hot?
