The summer months are upon us and the market continues to be mostly steady to higher. Even though the summer can be a slow time of the year, FMV prices seem to be holding for the most part as buyers remain very competitive in their quest for specific coins. In addition, with the metals headed downward, it looks like the only changes are in the common bullion-related issues. It also means that some of the common higher grades lose some of their steam and the FMV falls in relative terms. Yet, we are still seeing dealers trying to buy loads of bullion related material for their customers. Heritage will be conducting a Signature Sale in Dallas on July 7th & 8th. There are over 3400 lots in this special sale as Heritage, always on the leading edge, takes advantage of a very hot auction market. As is the usual case, there are numerous key dates and rarities in the upper grades for the issue. With their Internet bidding always very strong, Heritage can expect a very brisk auction. Any of you member dealers wanting to list coins in the NumisMedia auctions, please send us an email to numismedia1@aol.com.
